The water cooling of the motor also allows the Smallest Jet Boat Ampere Spark to run continuously at high speeds.

Slightly unfortunately, the 3.88Kwh removable battery can only support it for 30-50 minutes of flying at top speed. Therefore, we have shortened the battery charging cycle to about 3.5 hours. In addition, we have also ensured that the battery cycle can support 800 charge/discharge cycles.

1. What is a jet boat?

The jet boat is distinguished from traditional propeller boats by its unique jet propulsion. The boat is propelled by drawing water in and then spraying it out to generate power to move the boat forward, and by changing the direction of the nozzles, the boat can be steered. As a result, the jet boat is more maneuverable than many outboard motor boats.

Boats with jet boat motors have no overhangs on the bottom of the boat, so they can go aground in shallower water without fear of damage. In addition, jet boats without propellers are safer for wildlife.

2. How does a jet boat work?

A jet boat differs from a traditional propeller-driven boat in that it is propelled by the inlet and outlet of water. Usually a protective grate is provided at the water inlet on the bottom of the boat to prevent damage to the water jet system from larger debris. When the water is drawn into the impeller, it is sprayed out at high speed through a nozzle at the stern of the boat, where the water is sprayed out the back to drive the boat forward.

Similar to a traditional boat, the steering of a jet boat is changed by the rudder. However, a jet boat moves from side to side by manipulating the direction of the nozzle. Therefore, in terms of maneuverability, a jet boat is usually more agile and quicker to change direction.

3. Are jet boats safe?

Yes, jet boats are usually safe as long as we follow the requirements and rules for driving a jet boat. They are powered by jet motors. Therefore, when driving, we should choose a relatively clear and still water for the ship, so as to avoid large debris in the sewage that will be sucked into the ship and cause hull damage.

As a matter of fact, choosing calm waters on a sunny day is also an important tip for driving a jet boat. This is because jet boat motors are usually not capable of resisting rough waters.

4. Are jet boats good for shallow water?

If the salt settles in the boat for a long time it will inevitably corrode the interior of the boat. On the other hand, it is important to realize that the ideal water conditions for jet boats are still waters, whereas salt water is mostly rough.

Therefore, it may not be wise to rush the jet boat to saltwater waters.
