Driving Experience

The heat is over and the cooler weather is starting to take the stage. With Columbus Day recently upon us, a rare holiday, my friends and I planned to rent a recreational houseboat for a trip around the reservoir. We ended up choosing INTERCORPORA STILET as our vacation companion, and our group of four was just perfect for the spacious design of the boat.

When I first saw INTERCORPORA STILET by the reservoir, my first impression of it was that it was very simple, and visually I liked the small white hull. The boat’s driver’s seat is on the interior first floor of the cabin, with the deck design in front of it. I sat in the driver’s seat to start the engine and the boat moved slowly.

The maximum horsepower that can be achieved by the engine of INTERCORPORA STILET is 150HP, but for those of us who were pursuing a leisurely cruise, there was really no need to pursue such a high speed, as long as the smooth operation of the boat was enough. Through the instructions of the electronic screen on the console, I slowly drove the boat to the suitable location.

Ride Experience

The INTERCORPORA STILET finally stopped in the middle of the reservoir and I stepped out of the cockpit onto the outside deck, which was designed as a spacious terrace. The cool breeze blew on my face and I didn’t feel the heat even with the sun hanging over me, as long as I wore sunglasses to avoid the direct sunlight on my eyes.

My friends were all gathered at the water bar at the stern of the boat and they called me over to join them. I walked through the sofa area and bedrooms of the cabin towards the stern. There were various drinks on the bar and various ingredients chilled in the refrigerator below. Walking up the fiberglass staircase, I reached the upper deck, where the uncovered deck was perfect for sunbathing.

The loungers were a perfect fit for my idea. With my whole body bathed in the sun and the blue sky and white clouds in front of me, the shape of the clouds followed the direction of the wind. It had been a long time since I had felt such peace and relaxation inside, eliminating my inner fatigue.

Specification Layout

The INTERCORPORA STILET that we rented as a well-equipped boat can accommodate up to 4 people. The cabin is divided into two floors. The first floor is mainly for living area, and the second floor is inclined to the leisure area.

Fully Functional Living on the First Floor

The bow of the first floor is a terrace design, and the arrangement of tables and chairs is very suitable as a restaurant.

On the left side of the cabin is the cockpit which controls the movement of the INTERCORPORA STILET. Next to the cockpit is the galley, equipped with two gas stoves, sink and refrigerator and other basic kitchen appliances, where passengers can do simple cooking. Closer to the stern there is also a bathroom with shower, sink, and electric toilet with macerator.

The right side of the first floor is mainly a resting place. The sofa in the couch area can also be expanded into a bed to accommodate more people staying overnight. The separate partitioned bedroom is not very spacious, but it is very secure. The small window next to the cabin ensures that you can see what is happening on the water even when you are lying in bed.

These settings guarantee the basic functions of living on the boat. The bar at the stern of the boat is really a good place for afternoon tea, and the feeling of getting together with friends for a drink or something is simply great.

Entertaining and Spacious Second Floor

Through the staircase formed by fiberglass at the stern of the boat to the upper deck, you can come to the second floor area. Sitting and chatting on the sofa here is relatively more open and airy. The three loungers next to it are great news for those who like to sunbathe.

Of course, there are some 175 W Victron solar panels installed elsewhere on the second level to power the boat’s equipment when the weather is right.

The boat is also well made in certain details. The vinyl-lined floor is not only easy to clean and maintain, but also has anti-corrosion and water-proof function. Fiberglass material is also used more frequently on this boat.

• The boat’s living area is only 22 square meters, which can only accommodate up to 4 people, not very suitable for some large groups.
• The sofa in the cabin is expanded into a bed to accommodate more people, but sleeping comfort is compromised to some extent.
• The galley in the boat’s cabin can only simply handle some ingredients and is not suitable for heavier cooking fumes.
